Ken Sim and ABC are getting evicted next year, but how much damage they do before then is determined by how hard we fight!

We need to mobilize to resist their cuts and austerity, and fight for Vancouver.

Earlier this year, the Mayor and ABC voted to direct staff to look at ways to cut public services in order to have a 2%, 1%, or even 0% property tax increase for 2026. It’s imperative we tell the City we don’t want any services or community programs cut. We need more public investment in the common good, not less.

The City’s 2026 Shape Your Budget process is now open.

Because of ABC’s direction to staff, the survey question on the budget and taxes doesn’t even offer an option to expand public services.

Backed by billionaires and the super-rich, ABC and Ken Sim want to limit our choices to the status quo or worse.
